Carolee Carrara

Carolee is a unique singer and performer with a well seasoned voice that runs the gamut from sultry torch songs to a fun, improvisational "scattin" style.

A veteran performer of 30 plus years throughout the USA, her interesting career began with touring in the 70’s with "The Andy Williams Good Time Singers", opening for popular comedian George Gobel, and then for "The Friends of Distinction" and jazz great - Kenny Burrell. Carolee has also shared the stage with other performers such as Pat Boone, Chubby Checker and Ike and Tina Turner. She also toured with the "Frank Messena Big Band" as soloist and then performed her popular tribute show as “Marilyn Monroe” for 5 years in the Northwest. In addition she appeared as a guest artist on “AM Northwest” television, "Portland’s Rose Festival" - Mainstage.

Carolee’s repertoire includes American Standards in the style of Rosemary Clooney, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Judy Garland, and "Brazilian Jazz" in the style of Astrud Gilberto, and Antonio Carlos Jobim. Carolee does them all (singing in Portuguese and English) with the "sparkling pzazz" and excellence you'd expect from a pro. Her excellent custom tracks mixed with her very "live" stylish voice provide a lovely "trio" ambience for dining out.
