John Crigler

A young jazz pianist native to Tri-Cities Washington. He graduated from Pasco High School in 2009 and has studied music under the direction of Los Angeles based pianist Steve Haberman and has continued his classical piano studies with pianist Bill McKay. He gigs regularly around the Tri-Cities in various jazz groups, singers and solo piano.

Heavily influenced by the legendary Oscar Peterson, he plays very straight ahead jazz styles with a soulful, blues influence. Other influences include Bill Evans, Gene Harris, Thelonious Monk, Diana Krall, Clark Terry, Charlie Rouse, Chick Corea among others.
